Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist
Julie Mitchell
Julie Mitchell is a Nutritional therapist with a BSc in Catering and Applied Nutrition and with a passion for food-based nutrition practices. Julie is a member of the BANT organisation, our professional body of Registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioners and the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners as well as being CNHC registered.
Having worked in facilities management in the City of London and within a fast-paced corporate industry this led to seeking a therapeutic approach to lifestyle. After starting a family Julie continued to explore the benefits of nutrition for all ages and whilst working in a boarding school learned to work with specialised dietary requirements and recipe/menu planning.
Today, her interests are supporting others in different life stages with a focus on longevity. Areas of particularly interest include POI ( premature ovarian insufficiency) menopause, bone health, energy management and stress.
Julie likes to explore seasonal meal planning with an interest in TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) and ayurveda principles. Living in the Cotswolds and commuting into London provides an objective insight into the combining a working life with nature and wellbeing. For Julie, a primary driving factor of working with clients is using evidence-based research to inform and educate on current lifestyle choices that can influence their 360 wellbeing.
